Vaccine Health Equity Initiative

The Nevada Minority Health and Equity Coalition (NMHEC) received funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention passed through Immunize Nevada for a Vaccine Health Equity Initiative. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is issued by the NMHEC to use a community-based participatory research (CBPR) approach to support the equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines and COVID-19 related information for Nevadans ages 19 and under by funding community partners to co-develop tailored messaging, conduct community engagement, and support vaccine navigation. Awards range from $25,000 to $100,000. A total of $200,000 is available in funding. Funding period is for 12-months from March 1st, 2023 to March 30th, 2024.
