Nichole Monzon earned her Master of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma and her Bachelor of Science in Social Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Her professional background centers on connecting communities to resources—and being a resource herself. An innovative and thoughtful outreach and training professional, Nichole brings experience across the nonprofit, government, and higher education sectors, with a proven ability to improve efficiency, streamline processes, develop and manage programs, and collaborate with diverse partners and audiences to strengthen outcomes.

Gabriela Portillo holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston with a concentration in health disparities and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education from the University of New Mexico.

Her work focuses on strengthening community engagement, building collaborative partnerships, and supporting community-informed strategies that address health disparities and improve health outcomes. Through her work with the Coalition, she is committed to creating opportunities for organizations, community members, and partners to come together, share knowledge, and advance health equity across Nevada.
